The silencer with circle cross-section can be inbuilt in many different air ducting lines. It has cylindrical core and it is used for small absorption. This kind of silencer can be applied in airing or climate systems. The absorption level of the circular cross-section is lower than the rectangular cross-section one.

Silencer installed under the rooftop ventilators

Usually the rooftop ventilators are used to satisfy comfort needs. It conveys the used air from the residential space; however it produces noise into the same area. The following silencers were developed for the many different types of rooftop ventilators:

UT type: set outside the roof, can be directly combined with ITAVENT ventilator, the size code/number of the silencer equals to the code of the ITAVENT ventilator
UL- type: set outside the roof, can be especially directly combined with the ITAVENT 1/L type, available in one size
US type: silencer that can be recessed in the ceiling, built-in under the ITAVENT ventilator types
AE type: set outside the roof, can be directly combined with ITAVENT rooftop ventilator types

Applications

This silencer is used to reduce the spreading sound energy in the air inlet duct; the usage is dependant of the type and location of the used rooftop ventilator. The silencers are suit acoustically, and aerodynamically to the ventilators which can be attached to them.
