The dynamic balancing is the task that changes the weight balance of a turning object by replacing the actual rotation axis of the bearing secured rotating body and the inertial axis to overlap or approach each other within a specific tolerance range.Since the free mass forces that affect the instable object creates such a stress field which resultant is one force or a pair of forces, or both, therefore during the balancing we measure and compensate the components of the resultant that are on the turning object in a determined plane or planes. During the static balancing we put the rotor on wedges, on bars or rollers, and then on the required place we fix on or remove weights, to make it balanced in every direction. After a perfect static balancing, the gravity center of the rotor will overlap the axis of rotation. The dynamic balancing is the balancing of the force pair's resultant of the free forces.
We place balancing masses in the balancing planes or we remove them. This is done in order to make the real axis of rotation approach the main inertial axis within a required range. The equalizer planes are determined by the designer and assigned on the drawings. The two equalizer planes are best to set up far from each other, and make sure that the dynamic balancing is possible in a wide radius on these planes.
